Reaching the summit together

Nevis Planning takes its name from Ben Nevis (Scottish Gaelic: Beinn Nibheis) the highest mountain in the British Isles. Reaching the summit requires preparation, clear direction and an understanding of the challenges along the way. The planning process is no different.

Whether you’re a homeowner extending your property, a developer bringing forward a commercial scheme, or an organisation delivering major infrastructure, every project presents its own opportunities and constraints. Our role is to provide clear, practical advice and guide clients through the planning process with confidence.

Nevis Planning was established to offer independent, trusted planning consultancy services across Scotland and the UK. We support homeowners, architects, developers and businesses with planning appraisals, planning applications, planning statements, appeals and development strategies tailored to each client’s needs.

Led by a Chartered Town Planner (MRTPI) and Full Member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM), Nevis Planning draws on experience across developments of all scales, from residential extensions to major renewable energy and infrastructure projects. This breadth of experience enables us to combine technical planning expertise with a strong understanding of project delivery and stakeholder engagement. Nevis Planning also works collaboratively with a trusted network of independent specialists across Scotland and the UK, including architects, ecologists and other technical consultants. This enables clients to access the expertise required to support successful project delivery.
